My upstairs shower was leaking directly below to our living room ceiling. I re-grouted the shower, hoping that would fix the problem. It did not. So I later called Cecil Davis Plumbing and told them that it seemed like I needed a replacement for my shower pan. Two plumbers came. The head plumber was very friendly and chatty to me, and he seemed to be teaching the Jr. plumber because I heard him tell the Jr. plumber not to turn on the sink faucets or they wouldn't be able to tell if the leak was from the sink faucets or the shower. Anyway, the plumbers turned on the shower and also the bathtub full blast, creating a huge new leak in my ceiling. "It's definitively your shower pan," the plumber said. "Call a contractor." Then he gave me the bill. I was shocked they couldn't do it. Their website said they could. It would have been nice had they told me "we only diagnose" when I had made the call. I got another plumber.

Very satisfied with Cecil Davis Plumbing. It was easy to schedule the work, the plumber (Mitchell) was friendly and knowledgeable and did an outstanding job on our kitchen sink, and the cost was very reasonable. We will definitely call them for future plumbing needs and would recommend to anyone in Raleigh.

We have done business with Cecil Davis Plumbing for more than 15 years and have always been very happy with their level of service and value. Our house is at the age where we're changing out hot water heaters, updating plumbing fixtures, etc and every time we have needed them their technician has been prompt, professional, and got the job done at a very fair price. I once 'strayed' and tried a friend-of-a-friend's plumbing company....was quoted $900+ for the handful of items that needed doing....sent them packing, called Cecil Davis Plumbing and they came out and did the same work for about half the price. Avoid the guys who advertise all the time - you're the one paying for it! Cecil Davis Plumbing is the right pick!

I live in a new construction neighborhood and Cecil Davis is our point of contact in case of issues. I have called dozens of times to get updates on when someone might come out and fix a water leak and am told by the receptionist "I'll let the boss know". I have contacted them multiple times for an issue at my meter and water running down the street. This most recent time it was found that it was on the Town of Apex side of the meter, but they still have not informed me of this! I found out from my builder two days after it was looked at and hundreds of gallons of water have run down the street at my expense. Do not use this Plumber if you like to know what is happening! This is your warning.

Had a water heater go bad on Sunday and they took care of replacing on Monday. Great process from the first call to the receptionist on Sunday and the professional that installed and solved the problem Monday. I would highly recommend them and use again if needed.

This company is amazing! My old plumber quoted 950$ for a water heater install.... called these guys and within 3 days they were out and saved me over $700 at fantastic quality!!
